How SimTrade keeps your funds secure with x402 micropayments

What is x402?

x402 is an open payment protocol that activates HTTP 402 "Payment Required" status code for native internet payments. It enables instant, automatic stablecoin payments directly over HTTP without accounts or sessions.

How it works:

  1. You request a service (e.g., trading signal, wallet analysis)
  2. Server responds with HTTP 402 + payment instructions
  3. Your wallet submits USDC payment to Coinbase facilitator
  4. Facilitator verifies payment on-chain and issues signed receipt
  5. You retry request with payment proof in X-PAYMENT header
  6. Server validates receipt and returns the service
